Sundblom was born in Muskegon, Michigan to a Swedish-speaking family. Elite Estate Group sold the cake in an auction on its website that ended Thursday night. Company owner Larry Chaney said the man who bought the cake asked that his name not be released.

Yesterday, the Bureau of Meteorology forecast a sweltering Christmas Day for Victoria, with Melbourne at 30 degrees and some north-western parts of the state closer to 40 degrees. But this morning it updated its Melbourne forecast to a maximum 32 degrees, with possible thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, forecaster Stephen King said.
